Multicultural Rodeo Will Lasso Big Events
Event Will Be at the Tunica Arena and Expo Center March 16th and 17th

TUNICA, Mississippi (March 9, 2007)-Find a partner and head south because the rodeo is coming to Tunica.

The event, called the Multicultural Rodeo because of its diverse group of cowboys, bullriders, and performers, will be held March 16 th and 17 th at the Tunica Arena and Expo Center.

"This rodeo is a landmark event coming to Tunica, featuring multicultural events ranging from Mexican bull riding to professional female bull riding to Native American performances," explained Roy Lee Watt, the Rodeo's Promoter. "We are excited to bring this level of rodeo to one of the best and largest indoor arenas in the South."

Rodeo Promoter Roy Lee Watt has participated in rodeo events across the country. He says there will be six events featured in this rodeo including bull riding, bareback riding, calf roping, team roping, ladies' barrel racing, and steer wrestling, making the event enjoyable for people of any age.

"This is an important educational event for adults and children because most people don't get to see rodeo events like this up close," Watt said.

Friday and Saturday, March 16 th and 17 th, the rodeos are from 7:30-10:30 p.m. There will also be a Children's Matinee on Saturday from 12:00-2:00. The admission prices are $15.00 (13 to adult), $10.00 (4 to 12), and free for children three and younger for the night events. The Kid's Matinee price is $6.00 per person.
